Inside Sales Support: UK/Europe

UK: Milton Keynes

Strategy Analytics is looking for an inside sales support & tele-sales person to work with the European business development team to drive new business development and to provide customer service & support to our client base.

In this position you will be interacting with a wide range of people, both internally & externally, to support Europe’s sales targets. This role will encompass both account management of existing clients and supporting the new business development sales process.  This will include assisting in the development and maintenance of business relationships, both existing clients as well as new business development. This is a small established team where flexibility will be required.

The position is task-focused and requires excellent attention to detail, with strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and enthusiastically.   A proactive self-starter who is able to work independently as well as part of a successful team.  On-going support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Sales Support & Administration
    • Active follow up of European clients & prospects with a view to arranging WebEx calls or face-to-face meetings
    • Preparation and support of sales campaigns, mailings and follow up
    • Full responsibility for company webinar follow-up & coordination in conjunction with Boston office
    • Arranging new business & client meetings as required
    • Provide support and back-up to European business development team
    • Handle administrative tasks as required – Salesforce, emails, sales order forms etc

    We are looking for the ideal candidate to have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Telephone sales & customer service experience  required , ideally, in a high-tech environment;
  • Excellent organizational skills coupled with clear communication skills and strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure;
  • Self-starter with a willingness to learn
  • Team player, able to work closely with the sales team and wider analyst teams;
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
  • Customer Relationship Management
    • Registering new clients and approved users of Strategy Analytics research;
    • Client/Customer support to ad-hoc requests
    • Account Management support to include:-
      • Coordinating new client kick-off calls; assisting with arrangements for client-based planning sessions
      • Coordinating internal /external diaries with sales & analysts to arrange meetings
      • Providing usage metrics and reporting for clients upon request by business development directors
  • Guest Registration Management
    • Administer inbound requests for information and initial sales follow up, as required
  • Salesforce (SF) Administration
    • Includes supporting Northern Europe sales team by maintaining and updating contact and company information in Salesforce, our CRM database.

Working Conditions:

  • Reports to Vice President, Sales and Marketing with day-to-day support & management provided by the N. European sales team
