Harvey Cohen

Harvey Cohen, President


Prior to founding Strategy Analytics in 1996, Harvey was President of Technology Applications Group and President of BIS Mackintosh, firms specializing in marketing information and analysis for technology businesses

He also spent nine years at Data Resources, Inc., where he consulted with Fortune 500 firms in support of market and strategic planning activities

Mr. Cohen holds an SM in Management from the Sloan School at MIT, an MS in Materials Science from Ohio State University and an SB in Materials Science from MIT




David Kerr

David Kerr, Senior Vice President – Global Wireless Practice


David has 28 years of experience in the mobility space and has worked with leading operators, device vendors, and solutions providers to translate technology capabilities into effective customer value propositions

David Kerr founded SA’s User Experience practice in 2010 and is currently responsible for the Global Wireless , Connected Home and Teligen Tariff practice.

During his time at SA, David has spoken at dozens of industry conferences and has completed numerous custom consulting projects

David holds an Executive MBA degree from Suffolk University, Boston, and a BA Marketing from Thames University London




Barry Gilbert

Barry Gilbert, Vice President – New Ventures


Barry Gilbert is one of the founders of Strategy Analytics and is currently responsible for the development of new programs, a role which has seen him oversee the development and launch of AppOptix

Barry has over 25 years’ experience in high technology research and consulting, including roles as the COO of Current Analysis, Managing Vice President of consulting for Bowne, and leadership roles at IDC, Computer Intelligence/InfoCorp, and as co‐founder and EVP of the Market Information Center

Barry holds a BA from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from Clark University’s Graduate School of Business.




Chris Webber

Chris Webber, Vice President – Global Automotive Practice


Chris Webber has 30 years’ experience in technical, marketing and management roles specializing in providing analysis of business opportunity and market demand trends for electronic systems, semiconductors and sensors

Chris founded SA’s Automotive Infotainment and Telematics service and most recently its Autonomous Vehicles program.  Prior to joining SA, he spent five years at Texas Instruments where he worked in semiconductor product engineering and marketing roles

Chris has a BSc Hons in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Aston University, and a Marketing Diploma from the UK Chartered Institute of Marketing. He is a Corporate Member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology, a Chartered Engineer (CEng), and a member of the US Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).




Kevin Nolan

Kevin Nolan, Vice President – User Experience Practice


Kevin leads the User Experience team ‐ advising on all aspects of the consumer’s interaction with tech in the digital home, the connected vehicle and while mobile.

Prior to joining Strategy Analytics in 2002, Kevin was a partner at Hexagon Internet where he managed website development and user experience optimization projects for a number of major companies in the information services and other industries.

Kevin holds a BA (Hons) degree in International Business from Herriot‐Watt University, Edinburgh.




Joy Ganvik

Joy Ganvik, Vice President – Consumer Insights Practice


Joy leads Strategy Analytics’ Consumer Insights team which she founded upon joining the company in 2013

In Joy’s most recent role she led Motorola’s Consumer Insights team, which was responsible for all research worldwide – from market understanding to early phase innovation and development

Prior to her role at Motorola, Joy led a team of researchers as the VP of Market Research for a large financial institution

Joy holds an undergraduate degree in Operations Management from Western Illinois University




Michael Mcmurray

Michael McMurray, Vice President – Sales & Marketing


Michael manages Strategy Analytics’ global business development team

He is also responsible for coordinating marketing and promotional efforts to expand SA’s reach and awareness

Prior to joining Strategy Analytics, Michael held similar sales, marketing and business development roles at 451 Group, Nielsen Media Research and Rainbow Advertising Sales (a division of the Cablevision Corporation)

Michael holds a BS degree in Communications from Ohio University




Robert Mason

Robert Mason, Vice President ‐ IT


Robert is Vice President responsible for IT operations, client implementation and application development teams across five global offices

He has developed SA’s content delivery strategy, covering web design, extranet and publication standards

Previously, Robert worked for a leading provider of managed services and provided strategic planning and statistical analysis for local government

He has 20 years’ experience in strategic planning, technological, statistical, procedural and business/service experience in the IT domain
