On 1 February BASE made changes to its pay monthly plans.  The basic tariff is now Mein BASE plus. For EUR 10 per month, this offers free calls to BASE and free messages to all networks. The contract duration for Mein BASE plus is 24 months. Additional options, called Flats, can be added on a one-month basis. These include:

• Unlimited calls to fixed lines, other mobile operators or all networks
• Bundles of minutes to fixed and mobile networks or to fixed lines in selected countries
• Options for mobile internet, ranging from 50MB to 5GB

Whilst the add-ons have remained largely the same, BASE has made a number of changes to its basic price plan. The inclusion of free texts to all networks is new.  Calls to other networks have risen to EUR 0.29 per minute and mobile data access now costs EUR 0.99 per MB, a 50% reduction on the previous rate.
