France - Orange refreshes top-up benefits

by Josie Sephton | 11月 30, 2011

In France, Orange has made changes to the value included in its top-ups as well as to the choice of benefits included with its pre-paid plans.

All top-ups now give extra value, ranging from EUR 1.00 free with EUR 5.00 to EUR 50.00 with the EUR 100 recharge. The level of extra credit has increased, e.g. the EUR 25.00 recharge now includes an extra EUR 8.00 instead of EUR 5.00.

In addition to the extra credit and from the lowest value onwards, users now have a choice of three ways to make their credit stretch further:

  • Extra calls and SMS - this gives 50% more calls and texts to all French operators
  • Extra texts and social networks - 50% more texts plus free access to social networks through Orange's My Friends application
  • International - this allows calls to international destinations (EU, overseas territories, North-Africa and Turkey) at the same price as domestic calls

Standard prices for calls and text messages have increased to EUR 0.54 per minute and EUR 0.135 per SMS.
