Netherlands - Vodafone adds Smartphone plan to post-paid range

by Josie Sephton | 8月 02, 2011

On 1 August 2011, Dutch operator Vodafone implemented the tariff refresh announced in July. The new tariffs, all available on a 12 or 24 month basis, fall into three groups:

Bel + SMS - six tariffs with a call or SMS allowance. The starter plan gives 65 minutes or text messages for EUR 12.oo per month (24 months).

Bel + SMS + Web - offering from 100 to 650 minutes or SMS, these plans offer data allowances between 200 and 900 MB.

Bel + SMS + Web Smart – a range of seven Smartphone plans. The highest value tariff has a monthly rental of EUR 134.00, for which users receive 1200 minutes, 2000MB and unlimited SMS. Roaming text messages are also included, with a maximum of 1000 over a period of 60 days.

Bel + SMS is available in a SIM-only version, as is the + Web plan. However, voice and data allowances vary from the plans with handset, although the prices of calls and text messages remain the same. In addition, the Vodafone Scherp SIM-only plan remains available.

Vodafone’s iPhone plans are also still on offer, but the operator has withdrawn its “Bellen” (Call) subscription, which gave a voice allowance only.
