France - SFR refreshes hybrid plans

by Josie Sephton | 5月 11, 2011

French operator SFR has made changes to its Forfaits Bloqués Essentiel range. There are now five plans which offer a monthly communications credit that can be used for calls or text messages. The price of calls within the bundle decreases with higher value tariffs. For EUR 14.90 per month for a 24-month contract, users receive 40 minutes or 149 text messages, equating to a cost per minute within the bundle of EUR 0.3725. For the highest value bundle, the cost per minute is EUR 0.2325. After the monthly allowance is used up, top-ups can be made. The cost per minute then rises to EUR 0.38 for all plans.

There are now two Forfaits Bloqués Essentiel tariffs that provide an hour of talk time. One of these allows users to double their allowance for anytime calls to three selected SFR numbers at a monthly surcharge of EUR 3.
