by Linda Sui | 11月 18, 2020

According to the latest report from our Wireless Smartphone Strategies (WSS) service, global smartphone wholesale revenue went down -9% YoY in Q3 2020.

Apple maintained the leading position but lost the value share annually, blaming to the late launch of iPhone 12 models. Samsung and Huawei ranked in the top 3 list. Samsung posted a record high revenue share this quarter thanks to the solid shipment volume and stabilized smartphone wholesale ASP. Huawei in contrast lost revenue share by three percentage points annually.

Xiaomi pushed into the top five list by both volume and value for this first time ever this quarter, driven by the robust growth of smartphone shipment volumes across India, China, Europe and many other emerging markets, as well as the improved smartphone wholesale ASP.

OPPO, vivo, Realme, Transsion and OnePlus all gained value share from last year.
