New research from our
Wearables (WDE) tracker shows
Realme and
OPPO were the
fastest-growing major wearable vendors worldwide in the first quarter of 2021.
Both OEMs grew
+400% YoY. That is way
above the +16% YoY industry average.
Realme and OPPO are delivering good-enough products for Asia consumers at surprisingly
affordable prices. For example, the Realme Watch 2 Pro with 1.75-inch screen and blood-oxygen tracker is available in Malaysia at just US$55 retail. The price-point is -80% less than an Apple Watch.
We track 65 of the world's largest wearable vendors on a quarterly basis in this report
