Apple Watch 3: eSIM a Threat to Carriers

Apple today has introduced its new Watch.

The Series 3 adds LTE via eSIM, allowing functionality independent of the smartphone or WiFi network. This enables calls, texts, two-way Siri and location-based apps without an iPhone being present.
