by Steven Waltzer | 5月 31, 2017

According to Strategy Analytics' WDE (Wearables) service, global sales of cellular-enabled wearable devices will grow +123% in 2017. The percentage of wearables that are cellular enabled will take a slow and steady on-ramp over the next decade, as device makers develop more efficient cellular chipsets and smaller, denser batteries.  Smartwatches and smartglasses will take the lions share of cellular wearables, with companies like Samsung, LG, and eventually Apple leading the charge. Our report - available to clients here -  forecasts global sales of cellular wearable devices by type and network protocol from 2012 to 2022.
