Huawei announced its latest
Nova models 10 and 10 Pro in China. Nova is
the most popular series of Huawei.
Nova 10 and 10 Pro have 50MP (f/1.9) primary + 8MP ultrawide (f/2.2) + 2MP (f/2.4) portrait field of depth rear cameras and 1.07 billion colour 120Hz FHD+ OLED display in common. Nova 10 Pro is slight bigger with a 6.78 inch screen. Nova 10's is 6.67 inch.
Both Nova 10 and 10 Pro have an amazing 100-degree
60MP selfie camera with QPD autofocus technique, which supports 4K recording. 10 Pro has an extra 8MP front camera for portrait.
Nova 10 supports 66W max wired quick charge with a 4,000 mAh battery while 10 pro supports 100W max wired quick charge with a 4,500 mAh battery.
Both Nova 10 and 10 Pro use HarmonyOS 2. However, as they all use Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 4G,
5G will be missing.
As a mid-range family between
Mate/P and Changxiang, Nova 10 128GB/256GB will be sold at 2,699/2,999 RMB (about 400/450 USD) and 10 Pro 128GB/256GB will be sold at 3,699/3,999 RMB (550/600 USD).
Nova keeps its advantages such as a light and thin body. Despite the absence of 5G, Nova 10 and 10 Pro can still attract its target customers such as young
livestream anchors and vloggers with its powerful front camera in its market segment.
Huawei also introduced its new
watches including Fit 2 and Kids 4 Pro in this launch event.
