We notice HMD, maker of
Nokia smartphones, is currently driving a major push into the
United States market.
HMD Nokia wants in 2022 to be a leader in US
prepaid smartphones. It is introducing three new 4G models and a 5G device to kick off the new year.
Given pricing, features and
channel partners, HMD is likely to appeal mostly to the Budget Utility and
Value Optimizer segments of the smartphone market. Motorola, TCL and Blu will be among its main rivals.
