by Boris Metodiev | 11月 08, 2021

HMD (Nokia) global handset wholesale revenue went up +28% YoY, handset ASP increased +44% YoY, while operating margin hit its highest point ever for the company in Q3 2021.

On a regional basis, HMD’s Western Europe smartphone shipments grew +17% YoY and it is now the largest of all global regions for HMD, accounting for almost a third of the company’s overall smartphone volumes. HMD (Nokia) is the fifth largest smartphone vendor in Western Europe with 4% marketshare.

In Central & Eastern Europe, HMD (Nokia) almost doubled smartphone shipments annually (+95% YoY), and in Q3 2021, it registered its largest marketshare for the last two years at 2%.

It is great to see HMD (Nokia) doing well in the two European regions. The company is practically the only viable European smartphone vendor left in the industry, and historically has always been performing well in the old continent.
