On April 8, 2021, HMD (Nokia) made series of announcements, including brand new smartphone naming convention, the release of new devices and the expansion of the HMD’s own regional e-commerce platforms.
The company will release two new smartphones from each of the three new series (six in total) that will become available in the second quarter of 2021 -- Nokia C10 and C20, Nokia G10 and G20, Nokia X10 and X20.
It also announced the expansion of its e-commerce channels, with 14 country online platforms currently, that will allow going directly to consumers and enterprises (particularly SMBs) in Europe and US.
In terms of the B2B (Business-to-Business) opportunity, Nokia is looking to capitalize on the growth potential of the B2B smartphone market, with the addition of the latest G and X series devices into the Android Enterprise Recommended program.
