Android One Device Moto X4 with Project Fi Service in USA

by Boris Metodiev | 9月 24, 2017

Google has announced its intention to extend the Android One coverage into US with Moto X4. The company will offer the device via its own Project Fi wireless operator. It’s an important move from Google for couple of different reasons. Firstly, Moto X4 will be the first non-Google device offered on Project Fi (only Pixel and Nexus devices have been offered on Project Fi up till now). And secondly, it is the first Android One device made available in US.

Project Fi will offer a pure Android (Nougat 7.1) version of Moto X4 starting at $US399. The device will sport 5.2-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 630 processor, 12MP and 8MP dual rear camera, and 16MP front-facing one. It will come in Super Black and Sterling Blue colors.

This is yet another move by Google showing serious intent on the hardware side, after buying HTC’s Pixel device division and preparing for the launch of Pixel 2 in couple of weeks.
