‘New Age Smartphone Families’ have been defined as the ones launched since 2018. realme has been the fastest ever vendor to reach the 100 million mark and achieved the feat in mid-2021. realme’s Number series has been the original smartphone product line from the vendor, that led its foray into the smartphone market and clocked 40.6 million units.
With in the realme Number series, realme 5 has been the best iterate. Since launch in Q3 2019 it has shipped a total of 12 million units through its lifetime. The number series is expected to play a critical role in its growth in the 5G segment and the new Geo-diversification the vendor has been undertaking recently.
