The clamor for the top three positions in Egypt is increasingly getting intensive. Samsung managed to hold on to its top position as OPPO and Xiaomi closed in. While the former’s market share was at 18%, the latter two held 17% and 15% respectively, for the second and third position. Chinese vendors continue to increase their strangle hold on this market too. TRANSSION sub brands together alone went to account for over a fourth of the shipments.
