The US-based Smartphone Vendor, BLU, Comes to Japan with Unlocked Devices

by Woody Oh | 6月 09, 2017

BLU (BOLD LIKE US), the US-based smartphone OEM, is coming to Japan with two unlocked smartphones, one with LTE support and the other 3G support.

BLU will bring 'BLU Grand X LTE' and 'BLU Grand M' models to Japan's open market this month, and the price for two models are estimated to be below USD100 in wholesale, competing in the growing unlocked market in Japan.

BLU is running its core business in USA and Latin America, and it has recently struggled in the US smartphone market though it is one of the leading unlocked smartphone provider in USA, and it appears that this vendor is trying to turn things around by entering into more overseas market.
