Smartphone Shipments Share of Smaller Markets Grew in Q1’17

‘Next Thirty’ markets accounted for 21% of the global smartphone shipments in Q1 2017. Our most recent report on these 30 countries, available here, from the Handset Country Share Tracker (HCST) Service, confirm to Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Nigeria  and Vietnam being placed among the top five of these thirty countries by shipments.

Samsung led in 23 of these 30 smartphone markets as the Chinese vendors in Huawei, Oppo grew in others. The 30 countries tracked include in the report include Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bangladesh, Belgium, Chile, Colombia, Denmark, Egypt, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Iran, Israel, Kenya, Malaysia, Netherlands, Nigeria, Pakistan ,Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Saudi Arabia , Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, Venezuela and Vietnam.
