Oppo and vivo, two rising stars in global smartphone industry at the moment, are estimated to be looking to enter into Russian smartphone market. Russia is one of the world's top 10 smartphone market by volume in 2017, so it would make sense to guess why these two smartphone vendors are putting efforts to set up their footprint in this country.

If it proves true that they officially start selling smartphones, Russian smartphone market will get ever tougher among Chinese vendors in terms of competition as many of vendors such as Lenovo, ZTE, Xiaomi, LeEco, Meizu, Huawei and TCL-Alcatel are already competing fiercely now.
