Indonesia, one of the top 5 smartphone market by volume worldwide, is
finally giving an official green light to Apple to sell the latest iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus devices in the country, by accepting the pre-orders from March 2017.
To be able to sell the premium-tier smartphones in Indonesia, they must meet
the local government's stringent policy of having to utilize the local contents of at least 30% irrespective of either hardware or software or investment. It appears that Apple has recently satisfied this local policy by committing the huge R&D investment in this country over the next three years.
