by Woody Oh | 12月 06, 2016

ZTE, one of the leading Chinese smartphone makers, is seeking to grow its smartphone market share in Japan through the first-time collaboration with NTT- DOCOMO, the biggest mobile operator in Japan.

Though ZTE has been doing the smartphone business in Japan, either by working with SoftBank or selling the unlocked smartphones, this Chinese vendor appears to be expanding its operator partnership beyond SoftBank, planning to unveil NTT-DOCOMO's MONO series smartphone on Dec 9, 2016.

The in-detail handset market share by vendor by operator in Japan can be identified at the link, published by Handset Country Share Tracker (HCST) service.
