Oppo is Blossoming in APAC, but is Closing the Smartphone Business in Mexico

by Woody Oh | 9月 26, 2016

Oppo, one of the leading Chinese smartphone player and the world’s 4th biggest smartphone vendor in H1 2016, has gained strong market share across APAC including China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Pakistan and Malaysia, and is in the middle of building the momentum in AME region.

However, this vendor has decided to exit from Mexico, the world’s 7th biggest smartphone market, due to little market share in spite of heavy investment over the last two years. What caused Oppo to decide to leave this big market? How will this impact its strategy to enter into the profitable US market?

The recently-published insight report on Oppo's exiting in Mexico smartphone market is viewed at this HCST report.
