Samsung’s Cut- Out Strategy for India

Samsung has a very clear strategy for the Indian Smartphone market. A higher focus on the Mid-price tier devices, at the same time being aggressive enough to ride the emerging trends in the market.

While it launched two new mid-tier devices this month, in the second version of Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016) and Galaxy J Max. The two devices while boasting of capabilities such as Turbo Speed Technology and Smart Glow also has India specific features such as S bike mode and Ultra Data Saving Mode (UDS).

The vendor in the meanwhile, for its Premium- Tier devices, has also tied up with Reliance –Jio for unlimited 4G data for three months and intends to ride the 4G wave.
