According to the recently-posted report, 'Global LTE Handset Vendor Shipments by Country: Q3 2015', China became the world's biggest LTE handset market for FIVE consecutive quarters, ahead of the US.

LTE handset volume in China grew by a phenomenal +162% YoY in Q3 2015, mostly fueled by strong LTE product promotions / subsidies and product shake-up moves from local vendors such as Xiaomi, Huawei, vivo and Oppo as well as foreign vendors such as Apple and Samsung.
