According to the recently published country-level smartphone market trackder under Handset Country Share Tracker (HCST) service, Micromax, one of the fastest-rising smartphone tycoon based in India, has become one of the most influential smartphone vendors in Russia, becoming 8th biggest vendor in the country during Q3 2015.

Micromax is expanding its overseas market presence by degrees, selling its affordable smartphones not only in neighboring countries such as Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal, but also in Russia. Affordable 3G smartphones such as D320, priced below US$70 in wholesale are popularly sold in Russia at the moment.
