by Ken Hyers | 10月 07, 2014

Strategy Analytics’ Handset Country Share Tracker (CST) service reports that Global LTE handset shipments grew by 54% year-to-year in Q2 2014.  The US, Japan and Europe are currently enjoying rapid growth in 4G handset sales, while new entrant China is poised to see huge expansions in LTE handset sales in the second half of 2014 and 2015.  LTE handset vendors Samsung, Apple, LG, ZTE and Sony are now flooding the market, with home-grown Chinese vendors positioned for explosive growth in LTE as well.  Meanwhile, the United States remains by far the world’s largest LTE market,  with fierce competition among handset vendors and new data services driving robust demand for advanced new handsets.  The report Global LTE Handset Vendor Shipments by Country: Q2 2014 tracks the sales of LTE handsets by 17 vendors across major LTE countries and is a critical tool for operators, OEMs, component makers and other members of the mobile device ecosystem.
