Samsung and Xiaomi Fighting for Second Position in 5G Shipments

  • Overall 5G market is still in healthy growth. The global component shortage has affected the forecasts negatively decreasing the estimated 5G shipments. We estimate that the chip shortage will gradually ease during 2022 and the healthy growth will return in 2023.
