Chinese Vendors have Fastest YoY 5G Growth

  • Apple continues to lead the 5G era with 86% of its handset shipments coming from 5G devices.
  • Chinese Vendors take 56% of the Global 5G Shipments and 31% of Revenues
  • Most Chinese vendors have three digit 5G shipment growth YoY.

  • Xiaomi has managed to keep its position as world’s second largest 5G vendor, but Samsung is nearing.
  • Lenovo-Motorola and Realme are the two fastest growing (YoY) 5G vendors now in 5G.
  • Samsung is clearly behind others in turning most of portfolio to 5G. Only just over 30% of shipments coming from 5G when top competitors have over 50%.
  • Some vendors acting mostly in emerging markets are yet to join 5G era
