On Thursday the 17th, AT&T announced that the long waited and rumored RED HYDROGEN ONE is coming.
The RED HYDROGEN ONE is supposed to include ground breaking 4D holographic display that is better than the 3D auto-stereoscopic displays that was a short-lived trend back in 2011-2012.
Much else is not known about the device. It is reportedly coming with already aging Snapdragon 835 and will have some special technology in the imaging area that uses the 4D technology.

Penetrating to smartphone market as a new vendor is not easy, Andy Rubin and his Essential PH1 is a recent example of that. Despite very good hardware, pure Android software and reasonable pricing, the device has not found its way to many pockets.
Given the estimated extremely high price for the HYDROGEN ONE it is likely not to cause any ripples in the ocean of smartphones in the market currently. However, the technology sounds interesting and will be something new in this flood of full display, notched devices that keep appearing.
HYDROGEN ONE is promised to become available during/after summer so we still have few months to wait until we see how well the new technology works in action.
