IFA 2017: What You Should Go See

Strategy Analytics experts will be present on site at IFA 2017 in Berlin from 30.8. to 5.9. to bring our clients up to date insights of the industry. 360 cameras, drones, robots and naturally all new smartphones with advanced new technologies will be under our radar at the trade show.

At the fair LG is expected to announce their next premium device continuing the successful V-series, the V30. The device is expected to have near bezeless design, dual camera and powerful engine.

Sony is expected to release its bezeless phone at IFA 2017. The device will join Galaxy S8, LG G6 Essential PH-1 and others when display-to-body footprint is pushed to the limit. In addition to the premium tier smartphone Sony will likely unveil more mid- to high tier devices at the fair.

TCL-Alcatel is rumored to be launching three new phones at the fair. Phones will be launched to the entry- to mid-tiers. Lenovo is also hosting an event pre-IFA and is rumored to be announcing its next Moto X device there. 

Samsung will not be announcing any new handsets, but it is hosting a pre-IFA event on the 30th of August which may well be a new wearable device just like last year. 

Other vendors from other parts of the industry at the trade show such as Ricoh, Panono, Humaneyes, Nikon, and others will be present to showcase latest in 360 camera area. Drone companies such as the world leader DJI will be there to showcase their latest innovations in drone market. Neato, iRobot, Ecovacs and others will showcase their latest products in the service robot industry.
