Q4’16: TCL-Alcatel’s Volume and Financials Decline

TCL-Alcatel’s Q4 2016 volumes and financials declined, per our latest analysis available here, from the Emerging Device Strategy (EDS) Services. While the decline in handset volumes were -19% annually, the estimated revenues dipped by -7% in the quarter.

The vendor desperately needs to control costs, diversify markets and strengthen its entry and mid-tier handset portfolio.
