Global Dual-SIM HANDSET Sales Volumes Will Grow by 13% YoY in 2016.

A recent report from Strategy analytics forecasts 13% growth for Dual-SIM handsets 2016.

Propelled by China and India, Asia Pacific will continue to be the most dominant region for Dual-SIM phone adoption through 2022. While China will be the largest by volume, India will have the highest penetration rates during the forecasted period. Samsung, Huawei, Microsoft (Nokia), Micromax and Lenovo are the major leading players in the Dual-SIM market globally.

Dual-SIM, dual-active (DSDA) models continue to find niche traction in higher-tier segments.
