TCL-Alcatel: Mobile Phones / Smartphones: ASP Declining & Revenue Slowing

According to our WDS (Devices) research service, TCL-Alcatel’s global handset wholesale average selling price (ASP) declined -9% YoY in Q2 2015. Its annual revenue growth has ground to a halt at just +2%.

The vendor's share is shrinking in its core market of Latin America, while global LTE 4G handset volumes are way below where they should be. The “golden age” of TCL-Alcatel’s Step Up program is swiftly coming to an end for now.
