global LTE mobile phone shipments surged an impressive +120% YoY in Q4 2014. Growth was driven by intense demand for Apple's new
4G iPhone 6 phablets.
Meanwhile, the 3G
TD-SCDMA category in China shrank dramatically, and the CDMA segment worldwide continued to fade. Lenovo retained first place in TD-SCDMA, but it is struggling in LTE.
