by Neil Mawston | 12月 27, 2013

According to our Wireless Device Strategies (WDS) service, global SIM card shipments will grow +5% in 2014. Growth will be driven by increasing first-time users in emerging markets, new mobile devices in developed regions, and strong demand for multi-SIM usage in prepaid markets like India. Key stakeholders promoting SIM card innovation include the GSMA, G&D, Gemalto and Apple. This published report, available to clients, provides forecasts of worldwide Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card shipments by region, with additional details on form factors such as micro-SIM, protocols such as LTE, and memory capacity by kilobyte, between 2006 and 2018.
