Apple iPhone 5s / 5c Shipments Better Than Expected

by Neil Mawston | 9月 23, 2013

Apple announced today -- Monday 23rd September, 2013 -- that it had shipped 9 million new iPhones worldwide in the first 3-day weekend of the launch of the new 5s and 5c models.

This is a slightly better-than-expected performance from Apple. Our channel checks pre-launch were indicating a 5 - 10 million range, so it is right at the top end of expectations.

Looking further ahead, clients can view our Apple iPhone forecasts for the third and fourth quarters of 2013 in this published report from our Wireless Device Strategies (WDS) service.
