Sony Joins the Top-3 Smartphone Club

According to our Wireless Device Strategies (WDS) service, Sony Mobile became the world’s third largest smartphone vendor for the first time in recent history during Q3 2012. It is an encouraging sign that the Sony megabrand and Xperia sub-brand are finally making some headway in the mobile phone industry.
