Google tries its hand at TV.....again.

Google’s widely anticipated Android TV software platform was unveiled at its annual developer’s conference in San Francisco last month, marking the technology giant’s third shot at taking control of the living room TV experience. While early impressions are positive particularly surrounding its gaming and cross device capabilities, for Android TV to become a universally adopted TV platform then Google will come back up against the challenge of securing premium Pay TV and Multichannel TV content for the platform. Google, as well as Intel and Apple know from bitter experience that those deals are far from straightforward.
