Interesting TWS headphones launch this month from LG.

LG's new Tonefree FP9 earbuds come boxed with a UV cleaning case. After listening to music, you pop the earbuds back inside your UV case, and it will zap the headphones with ultraviolet rays to kill up to 99.9% of bacteria that may have been picked up from the ears or fingers.

In these more health-conscious times, this is a handy feature from LG. We assume the UV beam is powerful enough to work. Anyone who uses a UV case to keep their toothbrush clean, after brushing with toothpaste, will know that a cleaner toothbrush can mean a cleaner mouth. The FP9 should help with cleaner ears.

Retail prices start from around US$175, in places like India or Hong Kong, from Q1 2022.
