Pokémon Go has essentially revolutionized mobile gaming by finally finding an excellent use for augmented reality on a smartphone, while incorporating a character base which has long been widely loved and accepted by multiple generations. This game is driving users to undertake behaviors completely new to them. Friends, family, and even strangers are developing a common bond over this game and users are heading to specific locations in droves and sprinting in herds to nearby Pokémon in an attempt to “catch ‘em all”. However, shortly after one month of being launched avid users are starting to feel limited in their game play and are either playing it less or looking to outside app access to continue to make the game more compelling.
