Report Summary:

The Association for Computing Machinery’s Special Interest Group on Computer-Human Interaction (ACM SIGCHI) held its annual flagship conference, the ACM conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems (CHI) in May. CHI provides a platform for researchers and practitioners from around the world to gather to discuss the latest in interactive technology.


This is a key conference for seeing the latest HMI and UX research from academia and industry covering a broad array of topics including Internet of Things (IoT), smart homes, wearable devices, social networking, human-robot interaction, multi-touch and 3D interaction, to name a few.


The goal of this report is to present an overview of a selection of papers that highlight:
