Report Summary:

Frequency of mobile music usage continues to grow across both the US and Western Europe. Reported music streaming frequency increased by 72% from 2011 to 2014, in the US. With more music services emerging and competing for new users, it is important that they also focus on new and innovative features that users will find useful, usable, and compelling. Through consumer research and feedback from 24 music enthusiasts in the US and UK, Strategy Analytics identified four new feature offerings which are shaping music services and providing an enhanced music user experience for consumers.
