From self-driving cars to smart homes, systems are increasingly making decisions based on the environment around them. Sensors are widely used to measure temperature, humidity, pressure, air quality and other environmental parameters. Advances in sensing technologies are increasing the functionality and performance of devices in many industries including consumer, wearable devices, medical, industrial and automotive applications. 

The aim of this report is to provide consumer data regarding their level of interest in select smart home and health & wellness use cases which environmental sensors enable.
