Report Summary:

This report presents the findings of Strategy Analytics’ study with 24 cross-platform music service users in Shenzhen, China.  Personal computers are still the most important music device apart from smartphones, due to the ease of multi-tasking and better speaker systems.  While Chinese consumers are more likely to listen to online music on a computer, they tend to listen to music offline on a smartphone. Though QQ Music does not provide free access to high quality music, it is the most commonly used music service on smartphones.
