Report Summary:

This report presents the findings of Strategy Analytics’ study with mobile music service users in China. Though usage of streaming music has surpassed MP3 consumption on smartphones in 2015/2016, most participants indicated a preference of native smartphone music over online music. Kugou Music and QQ Music remained as the top two music services, while half of participants reported having paid for music content.
