In April 2019, Strategy Analytics undertook a worldwide internet-based survey of 4,790 consumers across the US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, and China to investigate consumers’ smartphone purchase priorities.  The importance of 5G, battery life, device brand, camera, and storage along with 12 other purchase factors are discussed with implications for the design of future smartphones.
