Mobile Voice: An Increasingly Flat Playing Field?



Report Summary:

While differentials across mobile pricing will always exist, mid-range users find the gap narrowing between pre- and postpaid offers, as well as between voice only and voice plus data tariffs.

Based on an analysis of almost 3000 plans across 36 countries, T-Mobile (Austria),Tango (Luxembourg) and Movistar (Mexico) are the least expensive options for users in OECD countries based on the 100 call + 2GB basket, while prices in Greece and Japan are up to  5 times higher than the cheapest offers.
