Game streaming, also referred to as cloud gaming, is one of the consumer applications identified by Elisa to promote and differentiate it 5G service from 4G. Elisa is running eSports games tournament in its stores across a handful of cities during January 2019 and February 2019. Although the bandwidth and latency of 5G will enable cloud gaming, Strategy Analytics expects the opportunity for mobile game streaming to remain niche over the next five years, despite growing numbers of 5G among mobile subscribers.
