Apple One bundles together Apples’ subscription services (e.g. music, cloud, games, news, TV and fitness) and is designed to fuel further growth of Apple’s subscriptions and services revenue. Strategy Analytics expects lower bundled pricing to lead to a boost in loyalty and an uptick in subscription revenue. However, it remains to be seen whether the Apple One discounted bundle enables Apple to overcome the limitations of services, like Apple TV+, which faces strong competition from Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime - particularly as free promotional access draws to a close at the end of November 2020.
